# BK 117

The multipurpose helicopter was developed in the second half of the 1970s by MBB (Germany) and Kawasaki (Japan), prototypes of helicopters were built both in Germany and in Japan. The first Bk.117 made in Germany took off on June 13, 1979, and the first Japanese - on August 10, 1979. Serial production has been carried out in both countries since 1981. Structurally, Vk.117 is a further development of the famous Vo-105 helicopter.
