French multipurpose helicopter developed by Eurocopter. Designed in two versions - ship-based and transport for the ground forces and the Air Force. It solves the problems of searching and destroying submarines and surface targets, carries out over-the-horizon guidance of surface-to-surface missile launchers, performs search and rescue operations, and transports cargo in the cockpit and on an external sling.
