American fire support helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter. Its first flight was in 1963. The OH-13S Sioux helicopter was taken as a basis for this machine. Bell 207 was built in a single prototype, but many of the ideas tested on this machine were embodied in Bell 209 HueyCobra attack helicopter, later Bell AH-1G.
